![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If you can afford it, get an iPad + Apple pencil, and download the Procreate app. I highly recommend Richard Williams' "The Animators Survival Guide", it's a wonderful resource for learning animation and is a great place to start your self taught library. You could also take the principles you learn in 2D animation and apply it to 3D later on. It's a great way to learn the basics of animation. The process is a lot more time consuming than 3D, yet more simple since it is at its core a bunch of drawings and not a 3D environment with everything else that goes into it (that's a learning curve of its own). You might be interested in 2D/traditional animation. I loved to draw and always wanted to make my drawings move around. ![]()
